Clearly, there is more to Generation X than meets the eye. And, of course, the same is true of any generation. While labeling can result in unfair characterizations, however, there remains a need to identify distinctive groups within the church to effectively discuss their various needs and demands. Hence, this book necessarily incorporates the use of identifying categories. The reader should keep in mind, however, that such labels are merely descriptive, and are not meant as fodder for moral judgments
